Is there a product that will reduce static electricity without being attached to something?

Everytime I get up out of my tv room chair, I am very charged with static electricity. I have to “degauss” myself by slapping a doorknob or a bathroom faucett before I can get near anyone. My partner handed me a five dollar bill the other day and even tho we didn’t touch, the static raced across the bill and zapped both of us. He’s afraid to come near me until I “degauss”. Please! Does anyone have any suggestions. I don’t want to have to be attached to something everytime I sit down. It happens when I get out of a car too. Am I cursed for life? I wear non leather soles, lotion, don’t scuff my feet when I walk.
